Often those in favor of illegal immigration claim the are needed in America because they do the jobs that Americans do not want to do. In Vegas one could easily be fooled that might be true. Now that I am in the Midwest, I see plenty of white Americans cleaning hotel rooms, cleaning houses, and working in fast food places. In these hard times many Americans would be happy to have any job at all.
America does not need illegal immigration.

RIP Timothy VanDerbosch
A few days ago high school teacher Timothy VanDerbosch was walking to work at 5:30 AM just as he does every morning. Unfortunately that morning he crossed paths with a group of Hispanic thugs who had been terrorizing innocent victims all night. The thugs robbed and beat Timothy VanDerbosch he tried to run away and was hit by a car. I hope Metro will quickly find the group of thugs, and the DA will fully prosecute them.
May God Bless Mr. VanDerbosch and his family. RIP

Thunder, Lighting, and Rain
It does not happen but the last 24 hours has given Las Vegas thunder, lighting, and much needed rain. It was nice, and I hope we get more.

Keep Don't Ask Don't Tell (DADT)
Last week a Federal Judge in California ruled against the military's DADT policy. A Federal Judge who has never servered in the military should not be making decision that will affect military readiness from the bench. The military is currently reviewing the DADT policy. The current policy does work and allows gays to serve, keeping their off duty lifestyle to themselves as it should be for everyone.

Bye Bye Harry
Here in Nevada I predict Sharron Angle will defeat Harry Reid in the Senate race. She out debated him hands down. Harry could not even give a closing statement without notes.

Quick Flat Tire Fix
One plus to all the Mexican immigrants is that if you are in certain part of the northeast area of Las Vegas and get a flat tire no worries. There are several tire shops where you can just pull in get the tire plugged for $5 -$10 and be back on the road in 5 minutes. Try doing that at a big named tire place, won't happen. More time will be spent just doing the paper work.
